Meghan King Edmonds’s husband, Jim, has admitted to a ‘lapse in judgement’ after reportedly sending snaps of his manhood and an explicit video to another woman while his third wife was welcoming their twins.
AllAboutTheTEA claimed Jim, 48, cheated on his second wife Allison Jayne Raski, with a woman nicknamed the ‘Baseball Madame,’ then had a further exchange with her while Meghan, 34, was in the hospital.
The website posted purported screengrabs from the ballplayer’s texts with including shots of his genitals; and, according to a source, ‘a video of himself masturbating in his basement while his wife was laid up in the hospital’ after ‘she had just given birth that day.’
The latest: Meghan King Edmonds’ husband Jim Edmonds, 48, admit on Thursday he had ‘inappropriate’ contact with a woman outside of his marriage to the former Real Housewives of Orange County star, 34, but stressed that it never progressed to a physical level
According to the site, Edmonds had worked out a non-disclosure agreement with the woman to keep mum about the affair.
Following on from this, the former baseball All-Star conceded to US that he’d had ‘inappropriate’ contact with a woman outside of his marriage, but stressed that it never progressed to a physical level.
‘Regrettably, I had a lapse in judgment,’ Jim, whose best years came for the Los Angeles Angels and St. Louis Cardinals baseball clubs, told the magazine in a statement. ‘I engaged in an inappropriate conversation with this person.’

He continued: ‘At no time was there any type of relationship or physical contact. Absolutely none. This is someone trying to profit from my name. I am aware she has done this to others in the past.’
Edmonds noted that he’s ‘never had any sort of a physical relationship outside of my marriage with her or anyone else.’
He tied the knot with Meghan in October2014, prior to her joining The Real Housewives of Orange County’s 10th season the following year. (Jim and Meghan left the show two years ago after the 12th season.)
The pair have welcomed three kids together, twin sons Hayes and Hart, one, and two-year-old daughter Aspen – all of whom were welcomed after she underwent IVF treatment.

Edmonds is also father to daughters Lauren, Hayley, and Sutton, and son Landon from his past marriages to his first wife, the late Lee Ann Horton, and his second wife, Allison Jayne Raski.
He offered, in his statement, a detailed apology to his spouse amid the scandal: ‘Clearly, I made a very poor decision to expose myself and my family to this type of person. For this, I am truly sorry and sought forgiveness from my wife … we were never having any problems in our marriage.’
Edmonds, who has been a broadcaster for the Cardinals in recent years, said he was ‘outraged’ over the woman’s intent to ‘ruin [his] family,’ and was intending on taking ‘legal action’ against the woman, who he says has ‘admitted fabricating large portions’ of her account of their relationship in legal docs.
News of the extra-martial revelations has not seemed to immediately impact the couple, who looked happy in a series of recent Instagram posts in which they worked out and attended a hockey game.
